No Blanch Freezer Tomatoes
Here is a super easy way to enjoy your vine ripened tomatoes outside of the summer season! This No Blanch Freezer Tomatoes recipe is super easy and fast when you don't have the time to can them.
- Tomatoes ripe and bruise free
1. Wash and dry tomatoes
2. Cut out the stem
3. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet
4. Put in the freezer
5. Once frozen, remove from freezer and place them in a zip top bag, removing as much air as possible
6. Place back into the freezer
When you are ready to use these tomatoes, thaw completely and the skin will come right off.
