Homemade Sausage Gravy
This super simple homemade sausage gravy recipe is quick and so good. Your kids will even eat it! Perfect for breakfast or any meal of the day. Just spoon over biscuits and enjoy!

- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- dash sea salt, pepper or crushed red pepper as needed
1. Brown sausage in skillet over medium/high heat. Break up the meat into small pieces. Cook until there is no more redness noticeable.
2. Once cooked, don't drain the meat. Sprinkle the flour evenly over the meat. Stir well to combine.
3. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring.
4. Add any other seasonings if needed.
5. Continue to cook, while stirring often. The longer it cooks, the thicker the gravy will become.
6. Once at desired thickness, spoon over biscuits and enjoy!
