Delicious Apple Crisp

This delicious apple crisp recipe is perfect for anytime, especially fall! This carmelized apple recipe is a family favorite! Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you'll be going back for more!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Apple pie filling use our apple pie filling recipe, either frozen or fresh.
  • ½ cup regular rolled oats
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp groun nutmeg
  • ¼ cup butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Filling: head on over to our apple pie filling recipe. If making fresh, use it right away. If you pull it from the freezer, let it thaw for a few hours. One bag will fill a 9x13 pan.
  • Topping: Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and nutmeg in a medium sized bowl. Cut in the butter until the mixture is coarse and crumbly. Spread the topping over the apple filling in the pan, trying to get it evenly spread.
  • Bake in a preheated 350℉ oven for 30 minutes or until tender and carmelized.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
